1. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Nurturing Life Counseling is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. If you have one of these plans, your sessions are typically covered under your mental health benefits. For those with other insurance providers, we can provide a superbill to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Our out-of-network session fee starts at $110.00.
2. What type of therapy do you provide?
We use evidence-based treatments tailored to your needs. Our therapists integrate multiple approaches, including Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan that supports both symptom relief and long-term growth.
3. Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
We offer both in-person and virtual therapy options. Our office in Hoboken, NJ provides a comfortable and private space for in-person sessions, and we also provide HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients who prefer the flexibility of meeting virtually.
4. What should I expect in my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist and share what brings you to therapy. We’ll review your history, discuss your goals, and begin building a supportive therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll identify the most effective evidence-based strategies to help you move forward.
